Cat food tip

Do you like Cat's?, I have a lovely cat , She is the mistress of the house even though we have two dogs, She comes in after being out all night, And then demands food ! Well that is ok if only she would eat it all, She eats half of it then decides to go back out leaving the rest to go off or get contaminated by flies etc, Well the answer is to cover up the food ! Tip Purchase from the pound shop a plastic butter dish and use it for the cats food, Because it has a cover, It is just the right size for the food and the plastic see through cover helps to keep it fresh, Simple !!

Painting tip

I was doing some painting in my garden , I suddenly realised that I had nothing to clean my brush with, Then a great idea hit me, Tip Use old used cooking oil ? , Yes you did read it correctly Cooking oil works just as good as white spirit and without that horrible smell that white spirit lingers all around the house after use ! So there you have it, Recycling at its best , You know lots of items can be recycled ie Pallets, Reclaimed wood save me a fortune, You can make anything from a garden fence right down to a garden table, So get recycling, You know it makes sense!

In memory of our friend Lisa Cambridge ( read blog )

I am sad today after finding out yesterday that our lovely friend Lisa Cambridge has passed away at the age of 42, What a shock to us all, 
Lisa was a person that I myself have known since she was just 14 years old, She lived in Eddington Road with her parents bellow the maisonette where I used to live, She was a nice person indeed and always had a smile on her face even when in her final years when she was really ill. She used to babysit for my kids when she was younger and they loved her, Lisa will be sadly missed by us all, Now there is another bright star shining in heaven, RIP Lisa our Angel xxx

Since writing this entry, Lisa's Funeral was at 2.45 today 5th August 2013 , It was a nice service that done her proud!  Our Condolences go out to all her family and friends, Regards and love, Paul  and Tina Burns xxx.

Bloody greedy government charging us even more for road tax !

You know what! I am bloody furious with our government, The bloody chancellor has put my car tax up to £143 for six months, Is this money to line their pockets! I am sure they do not spend it on our roads, Have you seen the state of them lately, It is a bloody disgrace, Now I have got to sell my car and get a smaller one just to please the hypocrites in our government who drive around in their great big Jags and Bentley's, I wouldn't mind betting that they are exempt, It is surely daylight robbery ! I only have a 2 ltre Chrysler Neon, Surly it should be cheaper than that !
